My Healing Journey
I understand the journey from pain to self-compassion. Growing up with an emotionally immature parent, my childhood was chaotic and unpredictable. It felt like walking on eggshells every day. As a teenager, I had severe bouts of sadness, anxiety, and shame. I avoided friendships, fearing judgment and rejection.
When I became a parent, I saw how these early experiences had shaped me. After my first child, I went through postpartum depression. As an immigrant and stay-at-home parent, I faced cultural barriers, societal expectations, and pressure to set my dreams aside.
Despite these struggles, I was determined to break the cycle of trauma for my children and myself. I went back to school, balancing my role as a mother and a homemaker and earned a master’s degree in psychology.
Breaking free from my past was challenging, but it transformed me into a stronger and empathetic person. Now, I use my training and experiences as a guide to transform others in their journey of self-compassion and empowerment. Healing is possible, and I’m here to help you take that first step.
